Investing in the Next Generation
Scholarships and Education
Central to our commitment to long-term opportunity is the awarding of college and summer camp scholarships — investments that extend our reach beyond programming and into the futures of the young people we serve.
The DPC Legacy Scholarship
A named scholarship fund dedicated to supporting young aspiring community members pursuing higher education.
Award Amount
$500–$2,000 annually per recipient, with the goal of increasing award amounts as funding grows.

- Active participation in DPC Legacy Foundation programming for a minimum of 1–2 years
- Minimum GPA of 2.5–3.0
- Demonstrated financial need
- Acceptance to an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/trade program
- A personal essay reflecting on their journey, identity, and commitment to community
Applications are reviewed annually by a diverse scholarship review committee composed of board members, community leaders, and alumni. Scholarship recipients are connected with a college-focused mentor and are celebrated publicly through our annual impact report, social media, and community events.
Summer Camp Scholarship Program
Providing access to high-quality summer learning and enrichment experiences for participants who demonstrate financial need.
Award Amount
$250–$1,500 per recipient, covering registration fees, transportation, and camp-related expenses.
